The Yukon sunset

We got back from our Yukon expedition about 6 weeks ago now and time, as usual, has flown. Below are a few links to stories from our trips.

In the meantime, we have been settling into summer in the Tetons. I have a few trips and projects on the horizon but, for now, it is a Teton focus.

In addition to getting a new red healer puppy – Rooster – to join her sister “mother” Goose, Pete and I did a quick trip to Zion for a wedding and some adventuring. With cloud cover for most of our stay, we were able to fit in some good climbing. Looking forward to getting more in over the next few months.

I’ve also been logging some mileage in the mountains and enjoying the big, sweeping views that come from the fun loops on both the east and west side of the Tetons. When I go west, Goose (and sometimes Rooster) gets to come along.

And, on the ranch side, it is riding time and I’m excited to improve my western skills over some more pack trips and big adventure rides this summer.
